This
meeting has been “called” due to information brought to Jennifer Beattie’s
attention regarding SAT/ACT Scores in Comparison to COMPASS scores.

Technical College are less than here – placement is higher at Tri-County
Technical College

SAT/ACT can be used as initial placement -- otherwise where and what? Problem to solve?
Ø Clemson Math Placement
Test (CMPT) was higher than needed to be – only 45% success rate. Tri-County
Technical College has a higher success rate based on our Math Placement Test
Ø COMPASS – 102

Ø Ability to Benefit is impacted
by admissions. Exposure to
Comprehensive Studies will logically show Ability to Benefit.
