· health and safety
· faculty and student support
· conduct and behavior which looks different in an online world
The spring teams are shifting into coordination mode and will meet every two weeks. The Faculty Resources page will be updated as work progresses.

· Definitions
o Isolation
o Quarantine
o Close contact
· What faculty can expect
o Response to report
o Email from case manager
· Requests for Online Delivery Only
o Not gathering data for requests for only face to face instruction
Scott Harvey noted concerns about attendance tracking for these students. Scott, Mark, and Chris Marino will meet to work on this concern.
Linda Jameison thanked everyone working with students on COVID follow up and tracking and noted her appreciation for all who are helping.
Discussion took place on Clemson’s additional testing and its impact on Tri-County. Bridge students are being tested weekly, which could cause an increase in cases. In addition to the staff, the Bridge Office has hired a part-time employee to work with these students.
Portal Project Update – Mark Dougherty
Mark reported that the new portal, MyTCTC, will contain tools or information that you need to authenticate to get to. Much of the information on the current eTC will be moved to the webpage, as we try to eliminate duplicate information. The portal team is working hard on final configurations and hopes to launch to a pilot group by mid-November. In December, the team will test and collect information and make changes in January, with the hope to launch to the entire college in mid-spring. The team is identifying what will migrate and will connect with content owners in November. Content owners will still be responsible for keeping information current. The team is still gathering feedback from students and faculty, so it will not move too quickly. Mark showed the test version of the portal and noted the different features. The team is working on the student view first.
Other – All
Sarah Shumpert reported that her team will be hosting an Advanced Topics Bootcamp
January 11 – 14, 2020. Topics will be different each day, but faculty who complete four sessions and complete some homework can receive a digital badge.
Jeremy McCracken reported that Faculty Senate is going as well as can be expected, and has its next meeting on Friday, October 30.
Luke VanWingerden announced that the college has purchased an enterprise reporting tool, Argos. This tool will allow a quicker response and will provide access to data without technical reports.
Mark Dougherty announced a spring engagement and event planning meeting that Lori Morrissette is hosting on November 12.
Scott Harvey discussed the DegreeWorks upgrade, which has some new functionality and works well. An e-mail with instructions will be sent out. He also reported that the 2021 – 2022 Summer and Fall calendars will be posted soon. Scott noted that the academic catalog time line is moving. Work will start in November so that it is ready for new student orientation. It should be out for review soon.
Jenni Creamer gave an enrollment update. Nine days into the enrollment window, we are down .49% in headcount, and down 12% in FTE. There is an even exchange with dual enrollment numbers up and Bridge numbers down. We would like to have as many continuing students register before the holidays, so she asked the members of the group to encourage students to be advised and to register.
Tom Lawrence gave a shout out to faculty for all the hard work throughout the pandemic. He noted that we need to be cognizant with what is happening with everyone’s job duties. He announced that Stevie Henrique moved from the administrative assistant position and is now the new office manager for the Arts & Sciences Division. The administrative assistant position will be posted soon.
Tiffany Blackwell reported that the online orientation module is open now. The online resource modules are included, as well. Students can complete the modules prior to registration and advising. She noted that the Be Pro Be Proud event is going on, and they are very excited.
Linda Jameison welcomed Tonia Faulling, the Faculty Senate Vice President, to the group. She also noted that the upcoming PAC meeting will help inform ALT meetings.
With no remaining agenda items, the meeting was adjourned.
